Revisit the Murals!

Our first Mural tour was so popular, we're bringing it back again.  Artistic treasures abound throughout DC--come see some of the best public art in the city as showcased by BicycleSPACE and Murals DC.

Building on the route we did last month, this tour will offer a chance to discover a number of amazing art works in DC that reflect on the city's culture and character and will feature some new stops we could not visit last time. 

We will give you a cue sheet and send you off in groups to visit some beautiful murals in Petworth, Columbia Heights, and Adams Morgan.  At each stop, you will be greeted by an expert from Murals DC who will offer some background information about the mural including some insight about the history and the artist.  

Along the way, we will set up a pit stop so you can take a break and enjoy a refreshing snack.    

Of course, we are thrilled that we will also get to learn more about Murals DC-- an awesome group that is doing so much for the city.  So far, Murals DC is responsible for the creation of over 30 murals.  Come along to see some of the best examples of what Murals DC has done to liven up and beautify the city while promoting a positive outlet for the young people they work with.
